Debbie's Serenity and Death

Debbie Walker a college girlfriend was one of those peaceful I will take life as it comes and very gifted student. But you knew this would be a person that was just here for a short visit among we the weak. A painting to document her existence. The house was an abandon home at a lake near the campus of Ohio State that we found amoung undergrowth. It had beautiful stained glass windows. In my depiction I let the stair be a question of the viewers mind if it was her trip up or down. Pastel, color pencil and watercolor on black paper.
